The SiOnyx Nightwave is a brand new maritime camera that provides mariners of any skill level the ability to navigate through uncertain waters safely by night. This ultra-low-light marine camera features SiOnyxs patented Black Silicon BSI CMOS sensor to easily spot debris and obstacles, and even detect man shaped object in moonless starlight at distances of up to 150m, without the need for white light or expensive thermal imaging devices.

Greater Night-time Visibility

The Nightwave will enable users to see much further than the human eye is capable of in darkness thanks to its <1 millilux moonless starlight sensitivity. A 44º field of view helps increase situational awareness, allowing mariners to spot any obstacles such as unexpected buoys and markers, debris, hard to spot vessels, and land formations etc.

Withstands Harsh Weather

Its IP67 rating means the SiOnyx Nightwave withstands the harsh weather conditions expected at sea. It is even submersible to 3ft for thirty minutes, operating reliably in inclement weather.

Flexible Mounting Options

This digital night vision camera offers the flexibility needed when mounting to a boat, integrating seamlessly with a vessels on-board console with its analogue video output for crystal clear colour night vision at a glance.
